Who has not at one time or another been faced with the problem of finding accommodation for a young person: his children or even his grandchildren?
The question arises when it comes to initiating studies, embarking on an apprenticeship, taking on a first job, forming a couple or simply taking your autonomy. a real obstacle course when you have no stable income, no guarantor, or enough to pay several months' rent in advance. & nbsp; This is what led a group of volunteers to create Relais Jeunes in order to help these young people to access a first housing. & nbsp; Today more than 600 places are offered as well as socio-educational support provided by competent salaried staff.
In this context of continuous development, the missions of the directors are as varied as they are enriching:
- carry the associative project, confront it with the realities of young people's lives, update it if necessary.
- represent the association with institutional, professional and associative partners close to our values.
- oncheck the economic and financial balance, including occupancy rates, unpaid bills ...
- contribute to the development and control of provisional budgets and their validation.
- ensure the "well-being" at work of employees to enable them to provide the best possible service to young residents.
- participate, according to skills and functions, in the recruitment of employees close to management.
- undertake to participate in one or more committees such as animation, development ...
- continue the development of the association and increase its projects
